Arctic Wildlife Tour

Your day will start with a drive to the Husky kennel where you get to meet the photogenic dogs. Walk around the husky kennel and learn about the everyday life of the dogs and their breeders.

After that you will have a chance to meet reindeer at one of the most traditional reindeer farms in Lapland. Duration about 5 hours.

Today you will have a chance to see Arctic animals in Ranua zoo – the northernmost zoo in the world. Besides polar bears you can also see wolves, wolverines, lynxes, otters, wild boars and many other animal species. After seeing the animals a tasty buffet lunch will be served.

It’s time to head to Kuusamo where you can spend the night in a bear watching cabin. Here you can see wild brown bears in their natural environment. Besides brown bears you might also see white-tailed eagles, ruffs and other waders. The log cabins have big windows and openings, perfect for photographing.

In the morning your driver will take you directly to Pyhä-Luosto National park. The park offers a versatile scenery perfect for hiking, biking, fishing and bird watching. In the afternoon you have free time to walk around on your own or relax.

Bird watching tour and walking around in the beautiful Lappish nature is one of the best ways to relax in Pyhä-Luosto. The park’s enchanting nature along with beautiful bogs and bird watching towers gives you a chance to experience nature in a completely different way.

Today it’s time to say goodbye and end our Arctic Wildlife Tour. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Rovaniemi airport for your departing flight. The duration of the drive is 1.5 hours.
