Active Finland Adventure is designed for anyone who wants to get active during their holiday. From city bike tours to hiking and canoeing in the wilderness, we got you covered. Discover the beautiful archipelago in Southern Finland before heading up north to explore the magical Lappish nature.

Active Finland Adventure Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Helsinki
On your arrival at Helsinki airport a driver will wait for you in the arrivals hall and will drive you to your accommodation. If you arrive early, you can dive into the city’s unique blend of modern design and historical charm.
Day 2: Discover Helsinki by Bike
Helsinki Highlights by Bikes is an entertaining and easy-going 3-hour orientation to the major attractions of Helsinki. We visit the market places and cycle through the city giving you time for sightseeing and shopping. Travelling by bike is a sustainable way to see the city.
Day 3: Free Day in Helsinki
Today you have a free day to do your own thing. You could visit Porvoo, one of the oldest cities in Finland, known for its medieval town plan and old wooden houses. Alternatively visit Liesjarvi National Park or discover the scenic peninsula of Porkkalanniemi.
Day 4: Helsinki to Turku by Train, Turku City Tour
It’s time to say goodbye to Helsinki and travel to Turku by train. On arrival in Turku a driver takes you to your hotel. After some free time you will do a walking tour of Turku, the oldest town in Finland. Turku is a vibrant modern city with an 800-year history.
Day 5: St. Olav’s Bike Tour
Hop on an eBike and discover the medieval pilgrimage route through the Finnish archipelago. Experience the magical archipelago, feel the warm-hearted atmosphere of the old town of Parainen and taste local delicacies. We travel back from Nauvo via boat. Riding distance approximately 65km, duration about 9 hours.
Day 6: Free Day, Overnight Train to Rovaniemi
Today you have a free day to relax and look around in Turku.
In the evening it’s time to travel up north to Rovaniemi by overnight sleeper train. The journey takes about 12 hours.
Day 7: Rovaniemi Highlights Tour
You’ll start your day with a tour of Rovaniemi city and a chance to meet Santa Claus in his village office. Receive your certificate of crossing the arctic circle. Duration about 4 hours. Free time: After the tour you can stay in Santa’s Village or head back to visit the Arktikum museum.
Day 8: Fatbike Tour
A great way to discover the Arctic nature is by fatbike. Breathe the clean air, exercise and admire the breathtaking Arctic wilderness. Your guide will teach you how to handle your fatbike and also about the nature and life in Lapland. Duration 2.5 hours.
Day 9: Canoeing Tour & Farewell
Canoeing is a great way to discover Lapland in summer while respecting its untouched nature. During the 3-hour tour you will paddle in the untouched nature of Rovaniemi and in the wild of Lappish Nature.
After the canoeing tour it’s time to say goodbye and end your Active Finland Adventure. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport for your departing flight.
