Your Taste of Finland tour starts with a city tour of Helsinki centre and the UNESCO fortress island of Suomenlinna. We stop at the Old Market Hall where you can experience Finnish cuisine displayed in all its color, tastes, scents and nuances. The tour continues with a 20-minute ferry ride to Suomenlinna, the no. 1 attraction of Helsinki.

This 5-hour small group food tasting tour of Helsinki is the best way to discover what Finnish food is all about. The tour starts with a berry shot and finishes with a coffee and cake. During the food tour you will taste and discover Helsinki, making about 9 different food tasting stops, including beer tasting.

It’s time to say goodbye to Helsinki and travel to Turku by train. On arrival a driver takes you to your hotel. After free time, enjoy a 1-hour picnic cruise along Aura River with a picnic basket of tasty local delicacies from Finland’s best bakery.

Today you will do a walking tour of Turku, the oldest town in Finland. Turku is a vibrant modern city with an 800-year history. You will walk through the history of Finland from medieval to modern times.

Free time: In the afternoon we could suggest beer tasting in Kakola brewery – the newest and coolest neighbourhood brewery in Turku, set in the old Kakola prison.

During the culinary tour you will try some local delicacies at the Market hall, head to the lovely Qwensel Café for a wonderful afternoon tea, and conclude at the Walo Rooftop bar where you can admire the views over the city while sipping a glass of bubbly.

Free time: We can suggest a tour to Ruissalo island for a nature walk through ancient oak trees followed by a seaside campfire with grilled sausages and marshmallows.
